USA Bobsled/Skeleton Welcomes Three New Board Member

LAKE PLACID, NY (March 24, 2025) – The USA Bobsled/Skeleton Board of Directors has welcomed three new members to their team: Hazel Clark, JP Davies, and John Rigos.

Hazel Clark is a dynamic global business development leader with two decades of experience in strategic partnerships, sponsorship sales, marketing, and program management. A three-time Olympian and seven-time U.S. champion in track and field, she has leveraged her athletic career to forge impactful collaborations with major brands like Nike, Coca-Cola, and the PGA Tour. As Director of Global Sales & Business Development at the Bermuda Tourism Authority, she has spearheaded multimillion-dollar sponsorships, executed high-profile sporting events, and expanded international brand exposure. Clark’s expertise in negotiation, relationship building, and strategic planning makes her a powerhouse in sports marketing and business development.

JP Davies is a seasoned financial services leader with over 15 years of experience at Edward Jones, where he has driven market share growth, managed multi-billion-dollar assets, and led large teams. A former USA Bobsled and USA Rugby athlete, he brings a competitive edge to strategic planning, team leadership, and community engagement. His expertise spans financial analysis, client relationship management, and marketing, making him a dynamic force in both business and sports leadership.

This opportunity to serve the talented men and women competing in these incredible sports is truly exciting. I am eager to bring my experience as a former athlete, combined with the leadership skills and professional experience I have gained throughout my career, to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the federation. Competing for the United States was one of the biggest honors of my life, and I look forward to driving the growth of these sports to provide more athletes with that same extraordinary experience. I deeply appreciate the board's confidence in my ability to be a servant leader dedicated to the mission of the USABS. Together, we will continue the great work being done to support our athletes and promote these thrilling sports,” shared Davies.

John Rigos is the Co-CEO of Aurify Brands, a leading hospitality company that develops and operates category-defining fast-casual restaurant brands, including Le Pain Quotidien, Five Guys, and Wingstop. With a track record of securing over $400 million in funding, he specializes in strategic growth, financial management, and innovation in the restaurant industry. A seasoned entrepreneur, he has built and scaled multiple ventures, served as CEO of Kevyn Aucoin Beauty, and actively contributes to industry boards and advisory groups.
