2-Woman and 4-Man Bobsled Events Take Center Stage in World Championships Weekend Two

LAKE PLACID, NY (March 14, 2025) – The second weekend of the IBSF World Championships is officially underway, marking the first of two days of 4-Man and 2-Woman Bobsled competitions.

In 2-Woman Bobsled, Kaysha Love and Jasmine Jones hold a strong fourth-place position after the first two heats of racing, posting a combined time of 1:53.53. Close behind, Kaillie Armbruster Humphries and Emily Renna sit in fifth place at 1:53.65, and Elana Meyers Taylor and Lolo Jones are in sixth place with a time of 1:53.67.

In 4-Man Bobsled, the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) ruled that only Heat One from today’s races will count toward the final results, with two additional heats scheduled for tomorrow. Counting just Heat One, Frankie Del Duca, along with Josh Williamson, Boone Niederhofer, and Charlie Volker, currently holds fifth place with a run time of 54.93 seconds. Kris Horn, alongside Carsten Vissering, Martin Christofferson, and Hunter Powell, is tied for sixth place with Korea’s Jinsu Kim, finishing at 55.08 seconds. Geoff Gadbois and his team of Collin Storms, Adrian Adams, and Dylan Gilbert sit in 21st place with a time of 56.03 seconds.

With tight standings heading into tomorrow’s final heats, Team USA looks to push for the podium as the IBSF World Championships come to a close.
