Team USA Closes Out 2025 IBSF World Championships with Strong Performances in 2-Woman and 4-Man Bobsled

LAKE PLACID, NY (March 15, 2025) – The 2025 IBSF World Championships wrapped up today with the final two heats of 2-Woman and 4-Man Bobsled, marking the end of an exciting two weeks of competition in Lake Placid.
In 2-Woman Bobsled, Kaillie Armbruster Humphries and Emily Renna led Team USA with a fourth-place finish, clocking a four-run time of 3:47.52.
“I’m really happy,” shared Armbruster Humphries. “We pushed amazing—Emily [Renna] did such a good job! We just took it run by run.”
Kaysha Love and Jasmine Jones followed closely in fifth place with a time of 3:47.76, and Elana Meyers Taylor and Lolo Jones finished sixth at 3:47.86.
In 4-Man Bobsled, Frankie Del Duca, alongside push athletes Josh Williamson, Boone Niederhofer, and Charlie Volker, secured fourth place with a three-run combined time of 2:45.64.
“I’m glad we could climb that one spot,” shared Del Duca about his Day Two performance, moving from fifth to fourth place. “It was a hard-fought battle, but that’s what you want—close racing.”
Kris Horn, joined by Carsten Vissering, Martin Christofferson, and Hunter Powell, finished in seventh place with a time of 2:46.39. Geoff Gadbois, along with Collin Storms, Adrian Adams, and Dylan Gilbert, placed 18th with a time of 2:48.66.
With the World Championships now complete, Team USA looks ahead to upcoming Selection Races to close out the 2025/26 season.
