USA BOBSLED/SKELETON FOUNDATION ADDS CATHARINE DE LACY TO BOARD

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (April 18, 2024) – The USA Bobsled/Skeleton Foundation (USABSF) announced today that Catharine de Lacy has joined its board.

 

Ms. de Lacy is a widely recognized expert in public affairs, corporate governance, sustainability initiatives, and risk management. She is well versed across diverse industries having worked for both public and privately held companies, including Albemarle Corporation, the Clorox Corp., Sun Products, Cabot Corp, AlliedSignal, and Occidental Petroleum Corp. in her capacities as a Corporate Officer and Global VP.

 

In addition to joining the USABSF board, Ms. de Lacy serves on the board of ClearSign Technologies (NASDAQ:CLIR) where she chairs the Nominating & Governance Committee and sits on the Audit & Risk, and Human Capital & Compensation Committees. She is an independent fiduciary of privately held NTES LLC, which provides strategic, financial, and operations management expertise in evolving energy markets, and is a board member of the National Association of Corporate Directors’ (NACD) Carolinas Chapter, where she leads its Member Engagement Committee.

Additionally, Ms. de Lacy is a Certified Director through the Harvard Business School, holds a Board Certificate in ESG from UC Berkeley’s Law School, is a Qualified Risk Director® and is certified in Cyber Risk Governance®. She received a B.S. from Merrimack College, and a M.S. from Tufts University.

Ms. de Lacy joins Chairman Fran Kirley, CEO and Chairman of Nexion Health Care, one of the largest nursing home chains in the United States providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care on 38 campuses in Colorado, Louisiana and Texas; and members Oscar Tang, Founder and retired President and CEO of Reich & Tang, an asset management advisory firm for banks, broker dealers and investment advisors that is now part of Natixis; Dan Gans, CEO of Polaris Consulting; Lauryn Williams, American Olympic medalist sprinter and bobsledder; Bryn Sherman, Principal with Offit Kurman; Adam Aron, Chairman and CEO of AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc.; and Jay Madan, who is an advisor, board member and operational executive with 30 years combined management, consulting and C-suite operating experience in biotechnology, life sciences and software development industries.
