Team USA Gears Up for Final Weekend of IBSF World Championships with Updated Schedule

LAKE PLACID, NY (March 13, 2025) – The second week of the 2025 IBSF World Championships begins tomorrow, featuring an updated competition schedule due to rising temperatures in Lake Placid. To ensure optimal track conditions, the IBSF and local track management have rescheduled the 4-Man and 2-Woman bobsled races. Originally set for Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16, these events will now take place on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15.

Team USA has a strong lineup for the 2-woman and 4-man World Championship bobsled events.

In the 2-woman Bobsled competition, Kaysha Love, who became USA Bobsled’s newest World Champion in Women’s Monobob last weekend, will team up with Jasmine Jones. Elana Meyers Taylor, who won bronze in Monobob, will race alongside Lolo Jones. Kaillie Armbruster Humphries, who placed eighth in Monobob, will compete with Emily Renna. Serving as alternate Push Athletes for Team USA will be Azaria Hill, Sadie McMullen and Bailey Golden.

For the 4-man Bobsled event, Frankie Del Duca, who placed fourth in the 2-Man Bobsled competition last weekend, will lead a crew featuring Josh Williamson, Boone Neiderhofer, and Charlie Volker. Kris Horn will pilot a team consisting of Carsten Vissering, Martin Christofferson, and Hunter Powell, after finishing ninth in 2-Man last week. Geoff Gadbois, who placed 12th last weekend, will race with Collin Storms, Adrian Adams, and Dylan Gilbert.

5:30 PM - USABS Hall of Fame ceremony (Mt. Van Hoevenberg Lodge)
