USA BOBSLED/SKELETON ANNOUNCES THE ATHLETES COMPETING IN WEEK 2 OF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

WINTERBERG, GERMANY (February 26, 2024) - USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) has announced the athletes who will be representing Team USA in Week 2 of the IBSF World Championships. Spanning from March 1st to March 3rd, the second installation of races will consist of 2-Woman and 4-Man bobsled competitions. Each event will be four heats long. 


For the 4-Man bobsled competition, pilot Frank Del Duca will be joined alongside Hakeem Abdul-Saboor, Adrian Adams and Manteo Mitchell. In Week One of World Championships, Del Duca and Mitchell secured a fifth-place finish overall in 2-Man with a four-run time of 3:40.24. 


In 2-Woman, Elana Meyers Taylor, who won silver in Women’s Monobob this past week with her time of 3:54.95, will be joined alongside push athlete Emily Renna. Kaysha Love, who placed sixth overall in Monobob with her time of 3:55.36, will be competing with Azaria Hill. Riley Tejcek, who is competing in her second IBSF World Championships, will be sliding with Jasmine Jones.

After training on the 27th through 29th, Week 2 of races will kick off on March 1st with heats 1 and 2 of 2-Woman. March 2nd will consist of heats 3 and 4 of 2-Woman and heats 1 and 2 of 4-Man. On the 3rd, events will conclude with heats 3 and 4 of 4-Man followed by awards in Winterberg’s town square.
