USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) is excited to announce its partnership with Senaptec, a leader in sensory performance and vision training technology, as a new team supplier.

As the team prepares for the upcoming sliding season, the integration of Senaptec’s advanced technology, including the Senaptec Sensory Station and Strobe Eyewear, will play a pivotal role in enhancing the athletes’ training regimen. In sports like bobsled and skeleton, where races are won and lost by mere milliseconds, optimizing sensory skills such as reaction time, hand-eye coordination, and focus is crucial. Senaptec's innovative solutions are specifically designed to push the boundaries of human potential, providing athletes with a critical edge in competition.

Senaptec’s Sensory Station offers comprehensive assessments and targeted training modules that sharpen various aspects of sensory performance, from visual clarity and depth perception to reaction time and peripheral awareness. This technology allows the USA Bobsled and Skeleton team to fine-tune the sensory skills essential for navigating the high-speed, high-stakes environment of the ice track.

The Senaptec Strobe Eyewear further enhances this training by utilizing liquid crystal technology to create intermittent visual obstructions. This forces the brain to adapt, improving the athletes' ability to process visual information quickly and accurately under pressure. These refined reflexes and heightened cognitive function are expected to translate into better decision-making and faster reactions during critical moments on the track.

"We are thrilled to partner with the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Team as they prepare for the upcoming sliding season," said Tiffany Frankovich, COO of Senaptec. "By integrating the Senaptec Sensory Station and Strobe Eyewear into their training, we aim to elevate their sensory skills to the next level, giving them a competitive edge."

The partnership underscores Senaptec’s commitment to pioneering new frontiers in sensory performance. Their technology, backed by rigorous scientific research and collaboration with leading universities and research institutions, is at the cutting-edge of innovation. This dedication ensures that the USA Bobsled and Skeleton athletes are equipped with the most advanced tools available to maximize their performance.

“USABS is incredibly excited to announce our new partnership with Senaptec. The sensory strobe technology helps train the brain to process information more efficiently and evaluates the individual needs when it comes to visual skills. With faster processing and reaction times, this will undoubtedly improve athletes' ability to make quick decisions when sliding over 90 mph down the track!” shared Kenny Howard, USA Skeleton Coach, who has had the opportunity to experience Senaptec’s technology firsthand.
