Terra Evans was born on Saturday, October 7, 1989 in Phoenix, Ariz. Upon graduation, Evans obtained Bachelor's of Science in exercise and sport sciences from Texas Tech Univeristy, where she was a member of the track and field team.
Evans was first introduced to the sport of bobsled by her coach Stu McMillan and Elana Meyers Taylor.
