Switched over to skeleton after making the bobsled national team as a push athlete...First introduced to the sport of bobsled after watching the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games...One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."...She taught herself how to surf when she was 10 years old....She thought she would play basketball in college.
